AIL - Technology Becoming Unhealthy?
Interfere! There was a time when technology was simply helpful. Those were the days where you could use it when useful, and there was still a choice. Now, it's being thrust into people's lives just about everywhere, and worryingly, choice is being removed. Intelligent human choice, that is common sense and the ability to work things out for yourself, make decisions and maintain control, is being taken away and replaced by a dependency on unintelligent mechanisms that deny your control, interfere and get in the way of what you want to do.
Telling YOU! Inefficient traffic lights and annoying automated 'receptionists', that waste millions of hours of our time every year, are only the beginning of the control-freak mentality being imposed upon us. Working its way into every crack and crevice. In your car, in your computers, your TV's and your mobile devices - the machine is trying to take command, take command of you, and take command of your life. Resetting your choices and overriding decisions that you make, because it wants to take you down a different road, and tell YOU what to do.
Dangerous Road! Constant distractions and interference from ads and software interrupting your work and your life is bad enough, but when YOU have absolutely no control over what happens anymore, it's getting serious. Afterall, the human brain is serious technology, developed and honed over a number of years; billions, in fact! Mankind, on the other hand, has only been at it for a brief period, and is simply amusing himself with the novelty and dabbling in things he doesn't really understand. Driven by greed and the animalistic-urge to take over the world and push their own agendas, those responsible have currently got us all travelling on a precarious and dangerous road!
Take Over! For a number of years now, social media has been like the new religion, sucking people in and getting them to subscribe, with influencers being the new, well, influencers. Just as religious leaders and dodgy politicians, they brainwash people, grooming them from an early age. Just as religion, and much of politics, it may seem like a good thing at first, but we can see the serious psychological problems caused and damage done, many lives lost and destroyed. People taken down unhealthy roads, misinformation spread and much trouble stirred by people with perverse agendas. People that just want to take, and take over. You, your money and the world!
Common Sense! Now a piece of primitive code from an unintuitive, emotionless machine, with no real empathy and no real-life experience is encouraging you to let it do all your thinking for you, make your decisions and even override, that is disallow you, your control. Human choice, human intelligence and the ability to make up your own mind is being diminished, rather than encouraged, and human control and the ability to override the machine and maintain flexibility is being gradually eroded and removed. It is a sad time when we are being discouraged from using our human brains and our very own common sense.
AIL? It's always suited the power-mad architects of bigoted religion and dodgy politics, and it suits the new power-crazy generation behind today's technology. Give them your money and handover your control, IF it's what you REALLY want to do, but let's not overlook the prophetic lessons in the Terminator series, or a hint and a message from someone who has been here before. Giving technology too much control, having too much faith in, and being too dependent on technology, to the deficit of common sense, human intelligence and human control, as well as human qualities such as intuition, emotion and empathy, is a dangerous road that leads to ill-health. A lesson for us to learn! AI L!
Good Or Bad? All things and all knowledge can be applied positively or negatively; that is can be used for good or bad. You can use your knife to peel an apple, or you can choose to stab someone; AND the choice is yours. This is freewill. When we are given such abilities, it is expected that we can learn to be responsible with them, that is, learn how to behave. Those who choose not to behave, and who want to continue to abuse such abilities and tools, by consciously using them to do damage and cause harm, will have no real future to look forward to. Our life programme on Earth, that which guides our evolution and other aspects of our existence, is guided by a form of AI, however, as it is self-contained, we don’t see any overly-large, energy-hungry data centres.
How To Behave? Our evolutionary life-on-Earth programme is obviously far in advance of our current technology, and it's a shame that we cannot yet appreciate all that we have been given; many still choosing to abuse life! However, when we look at the state of our leadership, and those who set the example in this world, it's not surprising that we're still a bit backward. In the development of evolved life in our universe, and the accumulation of considerable life-experience, many lessons will have been learnt along the way. We are being warned about that, because in the blind panic and the rush for gold, people can easily get trampled underfoot. There are also those that see technology as a means of causing harm to others. The question is, how much damage will mankind suffer before we on Earth get the message, appreciate the benefits of all we have been given, and learn how to behave as civilised human beings, rather than animals! ANIMAL = MAN AIL!
