Criminals And Tyrants In Charge? Where's Our Democracy?
There are some areas where our authorities are notably misguided, misinformed and quite obviously corrupt, as they're autocratically imposing things people don't want! That is, making them have it! Sticking it up people without consent is a form of RAPE! Below are just some of the negative, disagreeable things that have been, or are being, autocratically imposed upon people without consideration, consultation, or consent.
Lowering Of The Speed Limit? 20 mph speed limits, as enforced in Wales, parts of London and other parts of the UK, without public consideration, consultation, or consent, and then people being fined for doing 21mph, or similar, is all of the above. It is not people who stick to the traditional 30mph speed limit that cause the problems. It is those who are doing substantially more, where they shouldn’t be. Get a few more police cars out there and nick the real villains, who are actually driving dangerously, and leave the ordinary decent people alone. Whether this is just an inconsiderate and misguided act of tyranny by those in authority who think they know best, but as usual, don’t know what they’re doing, how to serve, or what they should be doing, or whether it’s just blatant corruption, remains to be seen. What we do know is that, the same as ULEZ and so many other things, people haven’t been asked and they haven’t given their consent. It’s another blatant act of autocracy and a gross imposition, whether we like it or not! That is corruption and an abuse of power by those paid to serve, and that is a crime!

Lowering of the Drink-Drive Limit? The lowering of the drink-drive limit to 22mg per 100ml, as has been done in Scotland, and as is apparently being considered for introduction in England, is another autocratic act of tyranny that penalises ordinary decent people. It is not the ordinary decent people that stick to the traditional 35mg per 100ml limit that cause the problems. It is the people that are two or three times over that limit, and they will still carry on regardless. So, note to Government - stop spoiling people’s fun and go after the real villains!

Low Traffic Neighbourhoods: Another autocratic act of tyranny, introduced without consideration, consultation, or consent. Inconveniencing people. Causing and compounding congestion and pollution. Wasting people's time. And then fining people. Tyrants running riot in our authorities!
Moneybox Junctions: The implementation of box junctions, with ANPR cameras to significantly milk the public, is another devious local authority ploy to make more money. A nice little earner for them, at the public's significant expense! People get caught without realising in impossible situations. Some instances have been deliberately engineered by local authorities to be so. More corruption!
