Play Your Cards Right - BBC Trumped? - Part 6

Angerland: Leaders should know better! If they don't, they shouldn't be driving the bus. Ordinary people just want a quiet, well-managed life, and most of us are sick of all the trouble such bad behaviour from our leaders causes. We've seen too much of it, often coupled with indoctrinated religious or political divide. It's all manmade nonsense in our heads, fuelled by what our various 'leaders' would have us believe; much of it lies and misinformation. Yes, we do fall for it! Notably, in our recent history, ordinary people have had to contend with all the above problems in Ireland. Coincidentally (as ire means anger), it's in the name, Ire land. The people in charge that cause and perpetuate these problems, know they're doing damage and causing harm, but they carry on, regardless. Consequently, ordinary people do get incredibly angry and frustrated at times. However, killing, or promoting the killing of people from any soapbox, platform, position of office, or even on stage at Glastonbury, isn't helpful! Killing each other is what we would like to see stop! It's nonsense created by nonsense! The ONLY way forward is to improve our behaviour, deal with the gripes, and work to keep everyone happy. It's not complicated, BUT, it involves consideration and means dealing with a number of issues. It also means that the buck stops where the responsibility lies, with our leaders! Bad leaders are no good to anyone, but, once they're in, they're hard to get out and that is a massive problem in some countries!

C Rap Hands! We see a tremendous amount of injustice from those who say they're fit to lead in this world. It's not hard to understand why the ordinary people get so angry when they see a leader of a nation ordering the cold-blooded murder of men, women and children, bombing, shooting, starving them, and treating them abhorrently, and other leaders are not calling him out. Leaders should set a good example and two wrongs don't make a right, especially when multiplied by such an excessively high factor. We must not tar all with the same brush, and painting ourselves with labels is a big part of our problem in this world, because that's how completely innocent people get targeted and caught up in the crap. Ordinary people who are absolutely powerless to affect anything, being maimed or killed as a result of backlash and being tarred with the same brush! It's not just politics and nationality, much of this comes down to religion, something we have yet to deal with; the manmade nonsense that is. We must all understand that it's not the ordinary people that cause the wars, it's our leaders. Those in charge who give the orders! However, it is the ordinary people that always pay the price, both mortally and financially. Many ordinary people are still forced to live in poverty because of greed and idiots in charge who want to waste resources on destruction, destroying people's lives and infrastructure, with absolutely no conscience. We should be concentrating on sensible and grownup management of people and planet. It is, therefore, perfectly understandable as to why people get frustrated at the 'c rap' hands that we continually see being dealt to the ordinary people by those who say they're fit to lead!

Leaders & Dealers! Leaders and dealers is an anagram, and the two are closely related as our leaders are ultimately the dealers of the hands and the circumstances that affect everyone. If they deal crap hands and don't play the cards right, we all suffer. As there are leaders who deal at all levels of society, from the playground upwards, every time we look up to somebody, or are influenced by somebody, it has an effect. We have to try and understand the responsibility that goes with this from an early age. Human beings are programmable devices. If we allow our heads to be filled with crap, we will behave like crap! Ultimately, the responsibility rests with our leaders and we must do our best to discourage the 'seeding' of crap, as well as the spreading. However, when we see so many of our leaders being a typical example of what we're talking about, it certainly poses a problem. We need leaders who can see the bigger picture, that is humanity. Leaders who have respect for life and for individual freewill. Leaders who know how to behave and how to manage accordingly. When you think about that, you realise how far off the mark we currently are. There is a distinct shortage of fair play and an abundance of bad behaviour we see coming from those in charge, some of whom are notably a few cards short of a full deck. Consequently, the bum deals and crap hands keep coming.

Trust The Source! Many people who put their faith in the internet, have already been indoctrinated with the belief that everything that comes from mainstream media is corrupt, manipulated, and / or censored. We know it is in many places in this world. Most people that support the BBC know that it does its best to try and be accurate. If it fails, it gets bombarded with complaints from the scrutineers - the people that watch it. It has also occasionally aired apologies, when it gets things wrong. However, we know there are no such guarantees with the internet. People can be anonymous, not traceable and not accountable. And who do you write to, to complain? Unlike the BBC, no one listens. The social media companies don't care about anything other than money and they're slow to act on anything moral. So, the bottom line is, you don't know who you're watching, listening to, or talking to, what their motives or agendas are, whether they can be trusted, or even who they're working for. We know there are people in this world who care more about getting control, their revenue streams, their profits and their own personal fortunes, than they do about the people of this planet, or even the planet itself. They will literally lie through their teeth and tell you anything, if it suits, regardless of the harm they do. With constantly-improving AI now at their disposal, it only can only get worse, so it is going to be a challenge and a very big issue! One that we all need to wake up to and think about. We have to be able to trust the source!

The 'Right' Message: Earth is currently in an 'age of mess' and a big part of the problem is deliberate misinformation, and our inherent inability to face up to, or tell the truth. We have seen dishonesty in every corner of every institution on our planet. Governments, police forces, even those who purport to represent the almighty. We have seen people fitted up for crimes they didn't commit, serving life sentences because those who should have known and behaved better, didn't! We have seen sexual abuse and child sexual abuse covered up by those in the authorities, the church and the BBC. We have seen those who say they're fit to lead, presidents, prime ministers, those with ministerial ambition, and a prince, blatantly lie rather than simply put their hands up and tell the truth. We have seen world leaders, who should know how to be grown up and responsible, behaving like malevolent juveniles, deliberately spreading misinformation and propaganda, causing considerable trouble for the ordinary people of this planet; herding people into a damaging war that nobody wants. We have seen leaders of religions lie and pervert the word of God, dirtying God's name to suit their own bigoted and abusive ends! And this is us - humanity! We are all guilty of something. Sometimes we stay silent when we should speak out. Sometimes we're too frightened. Sometimes people try to speak out and get murdered or locked up by those in power. Sometimes we're slow to admit our faults and wrongdoing and slow to put our hands up. Some never can! Along with our lies and misinformation we have to contend with war, hate, division, criminal behaviour and greed, and before we can put anything right, we have to be able to put our hands up and admit the problem. We, as humanity on Earth, currently have a lot not to be proud of! It would be nice to start to turn that around with the 'right' message!

The 'Right' Way: As time goes on, sensible management of our people and our planet will become more and more crucial. Those who say they're fit to lead have a responsibility to the ordinary people that they have not, so far, been able, or willing, to live up to. As we have been given everything we need in this world, they should be able to properly manage and lead us the right way. However, up until now, they have consistently failed, leading the ordinary people into mess, after mess, after mess. Our leaders also seem to think that the way to manage people is to walk all over them. Bullying, threatening and killing. It will be a much nicer world when we get to understand that the best way to manage people is to get them to manage themselves. We are all capable of this, but it involves loading people with the 'right' software, that is giving them the 'right' education and upbringing. This means the diet of information we are fed, has to be right and healthy! We need good examples to look up to and good, healthy influence from those who have something to say. It also means keeping everyone happy, so there can be no cause for complaint. No reason to commit criminal acts or terrorist atrocities. To achieve these things, we have to understand where we are currently going wrong, and that means taking a good look at ourselves and being able to face up to what we see. What we see is a world divided by manmade nonsense in our heads and an inherited prevalence of animal traits, still manifest in our social and social-management principles. Bullying, greed, selfishness, abuse, control, territorial ambition, etc. A lot of bad behaviour, often accompanied by a need to lie, or deny, to try and cover it up, and pretend things are not what they are. Lying to avoid being embarrassed, found out, or called out. There is also a worrying general inability and unwillingness for our governments and our leaders to see the bigger picture and understand what is 'right' and how and why we need to start acting the 'right' way!

The MessAge: Queen Elizabeth said, "No institution should expect to be free, from the scrutiny of those who give it their loyalty and support, not to mention those who don't!" This must not only include the monarchy, which she was referring to at the time, and the BBC, which many have criticised, regarding its behaviour, but our local authorities, our police forces and our various religions. It must also include our world governments. Those ultimately responsible for the abhorrent state of our planet and its management, or more correctly, mismanagement. It is time for mankind to stand up and be counted. Time for our leaders and our institutions to be put under the spotlight and to be held accountable. It is perhaps a good thing that this Panorama thing has happened so publicly, as it reaffirms the message that all humanity needs to understand and take on board. The things we say are important! It affects our world, for better or worse! We should all think about that. If we are a leader, influencer, writer, or broadcaster, the things we say are especially important, because we influence more people. We've seen how easy it is to mislead people, giving them the wrong message and herding them down the wrong road. The road to bad behaviour. War, abuse, hate, or an assault on the Capitol. None of it helpful. With the malevolent application of AI and world leaders who don't know what they're doing, how to behave, or who don't really care, some of whom blatantly lie every time their lips move, and an internet where anyone can stir up trouble for all sorts of nefarious reasons, as well as controversy and clicks, we must ALL try and get the message! We need to get our own house in order and our facts straight! Honesty, transparency, accuracy and accountability are the vital ingredients. Truth in the open! Cards on the table! Face up! The first step on the path to get beyond what we may one day look back on and call the 'Age of Mess', or MessAge!

The Hunt For Red October? The BBC doesn't actually make its own programmes anymore, it relies on independent production companies. That particular Panorama programme was apparently made by an independent company called October Films.

Lollipops! In the actual film, The Hunt For Red October, Jeffrey Pelt (played by Richard Jordan) said, quote... "I'm a politician, which means I'm a cheat and a liar, and when I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops!" Room for improvement then?

16th December 2025: Mr Trump has now filed his defamation 5 billion dollar lawsuit against the BBC.
He said, quote... "I'm suing the BBC for putting words in my mouth, literally, they put words in my mouth. They had me saying things that I never said, coming out, I guess they used AI, or something. And they got caught, because I believe somebody at BBC said this is so bad, it has to be reported."
He also said, quote... "They actually put terrible words in my mouth, having to do with January 6th, that I didn't say, and the beautiful words that I said, right, the beautiful words, talking about patriotism and all of the good things that I said, they didn't say that, but they put terrible words. They actually had me speaking with words that I never said and they got caught."
