CROSSING THE LINE

Some in this world, don’t know how to be
They still behave like ape
They harm other people, with their brutality
As they kill and rape
They don’t seem to appreciate
And they don’t really care
They dish out the hurt, as they go on the take
Causing us despair

Crossing the line into someone else’s country
It’s always gonna start a fight
Trashing people’s lives for the sake of selfish bounty
Bullying with their might
Everybody suffers because of immorality
And we don’t like the wars
It’s time we understood that this is not humanity
But our animal flaws

Crossing the line, it puts us all in danger
Cross that line, there’ll be a price to pay
Crossing the line, bring death to a stranger
Cross that line, and wait for judgement day

War is such a waste and everybody knows it
But that doesn’t stop some men
Selfish in the soul, they think that they’ll just take it
Causing us mayhem
Sometimes it’s a case that it’s simply immoral
If you cross that line
You start to revert to being behave just like an animal
Take us back in time

There is a line that divides us from the jungle
And means we can be civilised
We have to have, and understand some morals
And also have some pride
But there are those that still behave like reptiles
And think like dinosaurs
Backward in their mind, behave like rabid juveniles
Baring teeth and claws

Crossing the line, that brings us into danger
Cross that line, there’ll be a price to pay
Crossing the line, bring death to a stranger
Cross that line, and wait for judgement day

INS V & C

Do you not think We would have thought, that we’d would know by now
The simple way of how, you should be
Is it too hard, to just be nice?
And show some real humanity?

We have appealed to you, so many times, but still, you go astray
You carry on, committing crimes, and choose to be that way

There is no future, along that road, and all you’ll find is demise
You’ll join the ranks, of those that showed, they will not civilise

And when your road comes to an end, you will know in your heart
That you were given every chance to mend, and chose to tear us apart

And as you throw this sacred life away, with sheer disrespect and contempt
There will be a price, for you to pay, and you will not be exempt

So, think about what you will do, and if you want to live
Because of now, it is up to you, and what you choose to give

And now we reach this judgement day, it’s time for us to refine
Dividing those, who know the way, from those who cross the line

And you can choose your own way, because you have freewill
But know there is a price to pay, if you choose to kill
