Who’s got all the money, that’s what we’d like to know
There are some greedy people out there, they won’t let it go
They scuttle off like rats, squirrelling their stash
Leaving other people with hardly any cash
Who’s got the money? Who’s got all the money?
All we ever hear about is massive national debt
Who on Earth is owed so much, can this be correct?
Paying billions every week, but no one sees the books
No wonder people think, that this world is run by crooks
Who’s got the money? Who’s got all the money?
They say it’s simply business, as they rob you blind
And when they stick it up you, they hope that you won’t mind
But in this greedy world, it seems that you can’t win
Cos in the middle of business, is the word that we call sin
It’s all so crooked
SP: Yup, it’s right in the middle! Well, a bit to one side actually!
Who’s got the money? Who’s got all the money?
The money system's upside down, pay more when you borrow
How can you pay interest, when all you have is sorrow?
Those who have so much, shouldn’t need still more
But they still want more interest, and profit from the poor
So, everybody suffers, pulling in their belt
Austerity and poverty, and pinches being felt
The loan sharks are a circling, for feeding frenzy time
Cos the rich take all the money, and that should be a crime
SP: Yes, greed should be a crime, because it creates victims
People working twice us hard, but getting half as much
No wonder now so many, need a fiscal crutch
You can see why, some say, life just isn’t fair
When all the greedy people, just don’t want to share
They've got the money! Who’s got all the money?
Who’s got all the money, we’d surely like to know
It disappears in arrears, and poof it seems to go
Greedy people are the root, the root of all our woes
The rich have all the highs, the poor have all the lows
It’s true they take so much, that’s where the money goes
How much can a person need, before you say that it is simply greed?
How much can a person make, before you say that, it’s too much to take?
They suck it up like hoovers, with a snorting sound
And by the time they’ve finished, there’s none left to go round
It seems they won't be satisfied, until they’ve got the lot
Sucking all they can, into their piggy pot
Who’s got all the money, that’s what we’d like to know?
God’s land of milk and honey, is such a greedy show
When God made this Earth, he gave it all for nought
He hasn’t charged for anything, nothing need be bought
Who’s got all the money? Who’s got all the money?
God gave us materials and gave us all our food
Pick it, catch it, dig it up, is all we have to do
No demands, no invoices, no bills are overdue
He hasn’t charged for arms and legs, or your CPU
Leading by example, he gave it all for free
Share the wealth, enjoy good health, that’s how it’s meant to be
A little bit of effort, is all that we need
And one thing is for sure, we don’t need all the greed
So, if you’ve done alright, and have significant worth
Think about the free things, that God gave you on Earth
You cannot take it with you, so why not put some back?
And help to save your fellow men, from the fiscal rack
Sometimes we go up, and sometimes we return
We could come back as pigs, if lessons we must learn
Then those who are so greedy, and keep on taking more
May end up as pork sausages, on the tables of the poor
“Yes, that’s ironic! Who wants to be a silly sausage!”
